Bravo Special No. 1
Bill has the most tour baggage: in it always a ton of jeans, shirts and a lot of jewelery - without which Bill never leaves the house!
Nickname: "I'm already cool enough, I don't need a nickname"
Childhood: "I've been always really pushed around by classmate but I never reacted to any of it seriously. It felt shitty, but I always kept walking forward. Screw everyone else."
Hobbies: Music and parties.
Fears: "I am scared of flying. Especially if I'm flying in a really small plane, my heart stops. I put the responsibilities on others with fear because I prefer to have everything under control myself."
Arts: his first song Bill wrote at 9 years old. This song he wrote for his little pet mice, which died. Song was called "Traurig" - "Sadly/Sad". LOL WUT first Helmut, now mice? Shit Bill, you gotta stop killing the animals.
Wishes to himself: freedom and pleasures
Quote: "As far as finances go, we have separate bank accounts where our earned money goes. I don't even exactly know how much is in there. However if I like something, then I can peacefully buy it. It's beautiful! Most of my money I spend on clothes. Either way, we have a long way to a million Euros."
Tom takes with him on tour 3 huge bags - in which he fits exactly half of what he owns.
In school, girls would not give way to Tom. Now Tom started already a 5th black book. *eyeroll*
Hobbies: Music, parties, and graffiti.
Fears: "I'm kind of afraid of flying"
Favorite school subjects: arts. Tom admits that he would gladly attend a school for design.
Words to live by: "Carpe diem!"
Quote: "We don't have time for relationships, but if someone falls for us, we don't have anything against. However music will always be number one for us, and the girl must accept that. As far as sex, I'm more free than Bill...but that was even before Tokio Hotel. There's more sex now though. In front of the hotel there is always a couple of girls who would gladly go with me. Sometimes I don't say no! I'm not afraid if a girl tells others she's had sex with me. I don't have anything to hide. When I'm with a girl, I'm normal Tom...not some guitarist."
Georg admits that in his not so big luggage bag, are packed away almost all of his things. There's not a lot of them, but all of them were chosen carefully and he likes them a lot.
Childhood: Georg used to live in Halle and his greatest memory became crows. Whole packs of crows would surround/circle his house and he was a little afraid of them. "The crappiest thing happened when I was riding a bicycle. I used to do BMX and this one time my leg slipped off the pedal, and the spokes went into my leg...there was a lot of blood. After this I limped for weeks. When I was 7, when I was sledding, this horrible thing happened. When I was going uphill, this girl racing/passed me in her skiis, and one of the skiis hit my head and cut my right eyebrow. I had a huge wound, which had to be sewn."
Hobbies: Music, sports, parties.
Fears: "I'm not afraid of anything. Actually..."
Favorite band: Green Day, Oasis
Favorite song: "Dont Phunk With My Heart" by BEP
Idols: Flea, RHCP
First bought album: "Definitely Maybe" Oasis
First concert: Die Aerzte
"On the road, I always bring only 3 pairs of pants and a shirt for every day. Everything dirty I was in hotels, with soap!"
Childhood: "Once I broke my thumb during a game of volleyball"
Hobbies: music and bikes. Gustav still lives with his parents. He has his own room, where he has an aquarium with 2 fishes and a drumset. However he can only play after 5 pm, because under his house there is a mortuary.
Girls: Gustav has been in love twice in his life. The first time the girl was taken, the second she lived too far away. Right now he's single.
Fears: "I'm afraid of something happening to me where I won't be able to play the drums anymore"
First concert: Joe Cocker
Gustav is the shyest/quietest in the group, so Bill is always trying to cheer him up.
"Usually we don't fight. Our relationship is not stressful."
(Twin photo on bottom caption: "Right now everyone is crazy about them worldwide, but in Germany is the real epicenter of Tokio Hotel fanaticism. These guys are the first who moved the rest of the German superstars to the background."
"Music is more important than girls!"
Bravo: How do you feel about the screaming fans?
Tom: It's sick! How else?! The louder they yell, the funner the concert. I get goosbumps on my body from it.
Bill: Good thing we have special ear monitors. Thanks to them we hear our music. Or otherwise because of the loud screams of our fans, we completely wouldn't understand what we're playing. These little earphones are made especially for us. And I got the prettiest ones! The other guys' are ugly/tasteless/boring. (laughs)
Tom: Stop talking shit! (laughs)
Bravo: In hotels, do you have single rooms?
Tom: Yes! For Bill this is really important. He needs complete peace and quiet to come back to his senses. It's impossible in a tour bus.
Bravo: Do you guys have personality traits that piss each other off?
Tom: No. We have known each other for a really long time, because of this we perfectly know all of our imperfections.
Bravo: What are these imperfections?
Tom: Well for example, Gustav gets really stubborn and pissed off easily. But we notice quickly when he's reached his limit, which is when we back off.
Georg: In Bill, I am annoyed by his egoism.
Gustav: By the way lately he's always late.
Bill: HEY! Only 5 minutes! I had to make an important phone call! Usually I'm never late.
Tom: And I'm perfect! (laughs)
Bravo: Seriously?
Gustav: Bullshit! He's the worst of all of us!
Georg: For some reason, when something doesn't go the way he wants it to, he because so pissy and annoying. Usually he's in a great mood.
Bravo: Tell some bad stories.
Tom: I'll start! Once I stole the keys from the car of my stepdad and went to ride with a few friends. Although I saw no other cars, somehow I still ended up in a tree. Because of this, in my stepdad's Renault Clio there was a huge indent. I never admitted to it. And my stepdad thought someone else drove into his car. Till this day...
Bravo: Georg, anything similar happen to you?
Georg: Yeah. Once I got into a huge fight with one of my friends when I was 8. He started running across the playground, I picked up a rock and threw it at him. Because I wasn't that strong, the rock landed right on the hood of a white Mercedes Benz. I immediately ran home and hid there. And didn't come out for 3 weeks, still remember that...
Bravo: Your turn Bill...
Bill: Some of my friends and I went to hangout, we had no money. We decided to experiment who is the most savage. Who ends up last in the cafe without money, wins. We ordered a shitload of drinks and got a huge bill. I was the last one who was left at the table, and then the waiter came up to me and asked for the money. I told him I had to go to the bathroom real quick. Got my things and ran like the wind through the back door exit. Honestly, I got shit scared!
Bravo: Gustav?
Gustav: I sometimes do stupid things too. Once we got bored with our friends, that we picked up dog crap and put it into stacks of newspapers. Left them by this one door, lit it on fire, rang the doorbell and ran. Some guy came out, saw thew burning pile of newspaper/crap and started trying to stomp it out. The fire went out but his shoes were covered in crap. It was fun haha!
Bravo: Have you gotten into fights?
Tom: Bill and I fight all the time.
Bill: In 4th grade we once kicked this guy's ass who was in 9th grade. It was hilarious - we knocked his tooth out.
Tom: and broke more than one girl's heart
Bill: Whatever! We know that a lot of our fans are sad because of it, that they can't be with us together. We are sad because of it too, but that's the way it is. You can't please everyone. We don't want to hurt a single girl!
