Hi! It's me again, and I just want to tell you that I never get tired of writing something for this awesome magazine! I have a massive collection of Banda mags and I must say that you guys rock for having to feature cool artists (some are my all-time faves!). I remember you guys featured my article about The Click Five, and now, I'm gonna write something about Tokio Hotel, one of my favorite bands ever!. I know that this band isn't that popular here in the Philippines, and I just want to spread their name, their music and literally, THEM. I've been a fan of them for quite a while now, and I have to tell you, THIS BAND ROCKS!!. So for those of you who doesn't know anything about this very awesome band, I'll introduce them for you. Tokio Hotel is a German band composed of Bill Kaulitz[vocalist], twin brother Tom Kaulitz[guitarist], Georg Listing [bassist] and Gustav Schafer [drummer].

How did I become a massive fan of theirs? It started as a joke. I sent a group message wherein i said, "hey! i love Bill Kaulitz". IT WAS JUST A JOKE! then my friend, who's a fan, sent me a message and she's like, "How did you know that band?". Well, I knew the band before but didn't bother caring for them at all. I mean, what's up with a guy who looks like a girl that has "volumized" hair? They were just normal for me, I didn't care about their music AT FIRST. Then, I realized that, they are really cool, they're music is very touching and inspirational. So I started searching some cool facts about them, until I joined this forum made just for them: Tokio Hotel Pilipinas [check out their site! : www.tokiohotelpilipinas.org ]. So I started talking to awesome Tokio Hotel fans who are really dedicated even though they aren't that famous here. I have learned so much about them, like Bill wants to fall in love with a girl someday, Tom can write something using his both hands and so much more. I even asked some of my relatives who are living abroad to buy me TH merchandise, since only the Tokio Hotel Caught on Camera DVD is available here. Their single, "Monsoon" is very catchy and has a nice melody. My classmates are really in love with that song. And uh, speaking of my classmates and friends, they don't ACTUALLY like them, well for some. They think that Bill is gay and that their music sucks. Well, for all that I know, they don't suck and hey, they're just a group of young people but they make such great music.

I must say this over and over again, that music is about music, not the looks. So why bother criticizing their looks, when their music is awesome like that? I fell in love with this band, not become their vocalist is really that good-looking or anything, but what's more important is the music that they're making which they are most precisely proud of! Now, how much do I love Tokio hotel? Idiomatic expressions such as: I will love them till the hell freezes, or heaven is hell without them are much more appropriate but really, words cannot explain how much I'm in love with them. I guess I will do ANYTHING, and i mean it, ANYTHING just to see them or just say to them personally, how much they make awesome music and how much they make me happy. For me, they’ll remain forever "sacred", for they make me "scream" whenever i hear their music. When I am "on the edge" of my moment, I just popped in my Scream CD to my CD player and "break away".

It's not easy staying on top of today's music scene. Just ask Travis McCoy, frontman for the alternative hip-hop band Gym Class Heroes.

During a recent phone interview, McCoy fessed up about having a crush on the lead singer for the band Tokio Hotel.

"In the U.K., their posters were everywhere," McCoy said. "I'm like, this chick is kind of hot. I'm like, I'm sure she's pretty young but she's going to be cute, she's going to be hot when she grows up — not a chick at all."

Nope, Tokio Hotel's lead singer is an androgynous-looking German fella named Bill Kaulitz, who has taken to dressing like a Japanese anime character when on stage.

"It was one of those "Crying Game' moments where you have to take a shower — it was bad!" McCoy said. "I'm like, how dare you — that's false advertising!"

Kaulitz and Tokio Hotel would further vex McCoy.

"My girlfriend, my ex-girlfriend (Katy Perry) was up for Best New Artist (at the MTV Video Music Awards) and they won," McCoy said. "I'm watching the speech thinking "Just say thank you,' you know, and he went on and on. I'm not a hater so I can't get really deep into these guys."

In the words of Ray Davies, it's a mixed-up world. As for Gym Class Heroes, there's no confusing who these hitmakers are. The band comes Thursday, March 19, to the Prudential Center in Newark as part of Lil Wayne's "I Am Music" tour with T-Pain and Keri Hilson.

"I love it," McCoy said of touring with Lil Wayne. "Honestly, hands down, it's the most relaxing, laid back, fun, family-esque tour we've done in a long time."

The Gym Class Heroes story goes back to Geneva, N.Y., where the members — also drummer Matt McGinley, guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and bassist Eric Roberts — met in gym class in 1997. The guys released a few independent records early on and then a copy of their demo fell into the hands of Fall Out Boy hitmaker Pete Wentz, who signed them to his Decaydance label. The group's breakthrough album, "As Cruel as School Children," was released in '06.

The band's 2008 follow up, "The Quilt," taps a bit more into of an R&B and funk vibe in comparison to the more pop-leaning "School Children." Upcoming is a McCoy side project with T-Pain and a new Gym Class Heroes album.

"We just rock out and a lot of people like it," McCoy said.

What’s always surprising and cool to me is how, like, if you were to draw a Venn Diagram of Jonas Brothers fans and Tokio Hotel fans, that intersection of Tokio-Jonas fans (Jonio? Tokas?) is actually wider than it originally seemed back before that unofficial ceasefire was called. And, you know, the fact that both bands were nominated for the Worst Band Award at the Shockwaves NME Awards at least means that the guys have one more thing in common, besides die-hard, fantastic fans. Huzzah for diversified musical tastes, I say. (This from the girl with The Clipse and Taylor Swift on the same iPod.)
Anyway, just in case you’re all Team Tokio all the way and need a little break from Unofficial Jonas Week (they DO have a 3D movie AND a new album out this week, so you do understand, right?), let’s take a look at WTF Tokio Hotel’s been up to recently amidst all the Jonas mania.
+ The guys are STILL putting the finishing touches on their album. Still. As in, still. But apparently the new album will feature 12 new songs, down from 20, which were all recorded between Los Angeles and Germany.
+ Bill and Tom got new Audis! Tom got a grey Audi R8, and Bill’s sitting behind the wheel of a white Audi Q7. Yay!
+ The Ohio State University cheerleading team used “Ready Set Go” in a cheer routine. (And did you hear We The Kings in there too?) GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Tokio! (And Bucks — that’s my home state! Whut!?)
+ But perhaps most astonishing: As of January 2009, Tokio Hotel’s “Monsoon” video was the 38th most-watched video on YouTube EVER. Like MORE WATCHED than Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” (As of this post, “Monsoon” has 31.8 million views and “Thriller” has jumped to 33.3, causing me to believe that MJ is sitting in a cave somewhere, furiously clicking away. God knows he can’t afford to pay people to do it for him.) But MAN do you guys have a lot of time on your hands! Therefore… Might as well watch it again… On MTV.com! ; ) (You know, help me keep my job and stuff!)

Hello, guys!
Tell us what’s a typical day on the road .
Bill: We wake up around seven on the bus. When we get to the hotel I immediately go to my room and eat breakfast. I take a shower and change clothes. Then we all go the show venue for the soundcheck and interviews. After the show, we go back to the hotel, we pack and on the bus again to another city.

It is hard to sleep on the bus?
Georg: Yes, because we have to turn off the A/C. It gets very hot inside.

Which one of you snores?
Bill: Nobody... maybe Gustav!

Do you have a ritaul before your shows?
Bill: Half an hour before the show we get together in the green room. We’re very nervous.

What is the best way for fans to get your attention during a show?
Tom:I like when they have giant banners with cool sentences.

What is the funniest thing you ever read on a banner?
Bill:I received a marriage offer. There’s also a fan from Chicago who asked Tom to sign an autograph saying:”For the woman of my dreams”. She told him:”You don’t know yet but i’m the woman of your dreams”. It was very funny.

What is the best concert you attended?
Bill: I think it was the first i went to, it was Nena, a German singer*. It was the best show i ever seen! (translator note: This part is funny because in French the german singer part is written like Nena was a male! lolz)
Tom:For Georg, it would be without doubt David Hasselhoff!!! [Laughs]
Georg: Probably. Some of his shoes are really good. I like his dance moves more than his voice

Full halls, front charts-places, prices on the assembly line, millions of fans all over the world - currently Tokio Hotel are absolute high-flyers. But every now and then, Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) and Georg (21) think about the time after the hype. So much for them is clear: A life without their band, no one of them can't imagine this: "Tokio Hotel is our life," says Bill. "Would the band be at the end, a piece of us would die. I can't imagine anything else," he says. And Tom adds: "We don't live in a dream bubble, and know that sometimes other people in the charts will be ahead ahead. It's clear to us." Do the boys have fear for havong a crahs? "We wouldn't cope that," says Bill. "We gave everything up for the band - a normal life is just hardly possible. But we won't take drugs in any case. Sure, it's always easy said in the run-up. You never know. But we will solve this differently." But to think about the end of the band, is not to think at the moment. In last time there were lots of rumors which had lots of to do with Bill Kaulitz (19). We got one by one information that he suffer from eating disorder, hate his own body and lots of more. But how we can be used to by TH, by the time we can see, they are not everytime so true. There is already enough that rumor about Bill hating his body because he wears shirt and jeans on beach. He could be cold or just protect himself against sun. But he deffinitely has no problem with his body because only few days later could paparazzi saw him and his brother Tom in water and only in swimsuit! About those eating disorder rumor. It is fact that Bill deffinitely belongs between thin guys but that doesn't have to mean he has anorexia or bulimia! His management clearly said that Bill has no problem with eating disorder. And if somebody thinks that Bill is even more thin (by some news he has only 45 kg!) so it is only because he had very difficult time and soon there will be world-tour! But he is deffinitely not ill! And another good news - by the last news should be new CD of Tokio Hotel in March!

After watching Tokio Hotel's recent DVD, Caught on Camera, two things became very clear to me—the boys in Tokio Hotel are hilarious, and they really care about animals. When the subject of their rather elaborate entrance to MTV's Video Music Awards on a monster truck came up, the boys took the opportunity to mention how they felt about rapper T-Pain arriving on an elephant.

Tokio Hotel's vocalist (with the best hair ever, I might add), Bill Kaulitz, said "it was sheer cruelty—it was that." Bill's brother and Tokio Hotel's guitarist, Tom, followed Bill's thought by saying "I hate zoos and circuses. People shouldn't take their children to either one." We couldn't agree more, boys! Circuses are certainly no fun for animals, as they are confined to small enclosures, forced to do tricks, beaten with sharp metal bullhooks, and unable to live a normal life. Thankfully, there are quite a few all human circuses out there, which are a very entertaining alternative!

Bill Reveals 'Wenig Mehr' About Tokio Hotel's New Album

Tokio Hotel fans, you’ll have to bear with my piss-poor English-to-German translation skills (or lack thereof… seriously you guys taking German have me totally trumped — my German-born paternal grandparents would be ashamed! Anyway, DANKE, Babelfish), but that headline is SUPPOSED to be “a little more.” Why? Because TokioHotelNetwork and friends got their hands on an interview Bill Kaulitz gave to French magazine Dream Up. In the interview, Bill revealed just a little more (get it? “wenig mehr”???) about Tokio Hotel’s highly anticipated new album, scheduled for release this spring.

You’ve probably already pored over the entire interview already, but on the off chance this is the first time you’ve read it, here are a few highlights:

Bill revealed that the album will be in German, with an English version, that he’s been battling his own perfectionism during the collaborative process, and that one lyric deals with home sickness. He also took on Perez Hilton’s lipsynching accusations saying: “It’s not the first time that I hear such bull about Tokio Hotel, or some other bands. We’re in the heat of things and our success elicits jealousy. And those kind of mediaflashs are part of the game. It’s a deceitful attack since the famous Perez Hilton has no proof to substantiate his accusations. Like our manager David Jost said, “The best way to form an opinion is to come to our shows and watch us play.” And we really, really rock!

Tokio Hotel is up for a Bravo Otto Award in Deutschland! First, if you’re NOT a TH fan, you’re probably all, WTF’s a Bravo Award? No, it’s not the same as the network that beams The Real Housewives of Orange County and Top Chef into your home. This Bravo is a German teen magazine that’s been around for over 50 years (it originally featured Elvis on the cover, to give you an idea how old it is), and it’s spun off into a variety of pop-culture mags, a TV show, and the Bravo Awards, which Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, and David Hasselhoff have all received.

Tokio Hotel performed at the “50 Jahre Bravo” show (”50 Years of Bravo”) in October 2006 and received Otto awards in 2006, 2007, and 2008. And Tokio Hotel was recently nominated for a 2009 Otto for Best Superband, next to a host of other bands, including Jonas Brothers, Pussycat Dolls (a Tokio Hotel fave!), and Fall Out Boy. Not too shabby, right?

Allergies: Bill's allergic to bug bites and apples. For Gustav it's fish, pork, and pollen. Georg- dog and cat hair.

Berlin: The band often goes to Germany's capital. That's exactly where they filmed 3 of their music videos: "Der Letzte Tag" on the roof of a movie theater in the area of Friedrichshain, "Schrei" in an old house, "Rette Mich" in a legendary movie studio and "Durch Den Monsun" in a place called Leonberg not too far from Berlin.

Vegetarianism: Sadly Tom, Bill, Georg and Gustav can't say no to meat. They love burgers, although enjoy the idea of vegetarianism because they love animals.

"Plumber Cleavage": When someone bends over and you can see their butt crack, the guys call it "plumber cleavage" this is so lame lol wtf is this f***ery?

"Piece of a gut": Is a new word in Tokio Hotel's dictionary. "I'm like a piece of a gut - that's what we say when we feel bad" says Tom.

Naked: Georg is the only one in the band who sleeps completely naked. The rest of the guys strictly wear boxers to bed.

Shoe size: All 4 wear the same shoe size 42 i'm guessing this is a russian size?

Style: His style, Bill made up completely by himself. His make up artist Natasha (who is from Ukraine) helps him keep it up.

Bill loves his life: concerts, travel, and meetings with fans. Unlike his twin brother Tom, he believes in true love from first sight and prefers solitude versus loud gatherings.

His music:
"P!nk is a cool girl! I often listen to her album "Im not dead". I also love Green Day and their best album "American Idiot". From the song "Niemand vermisst uns" by the German band Bosse, Bill gets goosebumps: "On long trips I listen to this song". He also loves German pop singer Nena. "I started listening to her songs at 6 years old I really liked her lyrics and music that at 7 I started writing my own songs." At home in Loitsche Bill & Tom always argue: "Our rooms are directly across from each other, so we always fight when one of us turns on their music too loud. Because our tastes are so different, I dont like hip hop and all that..." Bill also hates disco. "Last time I went to a dance was when I was 11. My girlfriend really wanted to dance and I couldn't just say no. And now, when I come to the club, I just sit and sort of move slightly to the beat. That's the most I do!"

His second side:
Bill is very charismatic and charming: the way a real star should be. As soon as he appears in the room, all attention goes to him. Also Bill often laughs loudly, usually at someone..and if that person gets into a really sticky situation, Bill laughs even more. Often he feels the need for solitude. The others have come to terms with that and give him space.

His fetish:
Bill loves Placebo, and absolutely adores Green Day. The album "American Idiot" Bill thinks is the best album of all time! oh Bill how you fail for thinking that's their best album Also Bill like a metal band called Venom, strangely enough a lot for their logo. He wore a shirt with their logo at BRAVO Supershow 2006 in Stuttgart.

Would you wear clothes like your brother?
Noooooooo!! I think they look like trash bags or something like that. They don't fit the body right.

Bill, would you like to live a normal life for a little bit?
Yes, very. Because living when you are being constantly followed, really hard...it would be cool if I had a few free days where I could just hangout anywhere, go shopping or to the movies.

Bill, would you ever perform without make up?
No, it became a part of me at this point. I think if I didn't wear make up I wouldn't be myself.

Gustav and Georg often take off their shirts at shows, when will you start doing this?
I hope that Georg never does it again, it's too much (laughs). I would never take off my shirt on stage. I'm just not that kind of person. It's really hard to catch me with no shirt on.

Tom always has a few jokes at hand. Always flirting is his style. The same way wearing clothes only sized XXL

His music:
"My favorite artist is Samy Deluxe. He has seriously sick lyrics. Especially the song "Die Reise ist das Ziel". It fits our lives completely. We're also traveling often just like him. This song is playing when I'm sitting in a car or a plane. I sing along to it really loudly, and it annoys everyone." But at first Tom listened to different music: "My first album was Aerosmith. I also like new bands like Billy Talent." Tom doesn't like romantic songs: "In real life I'm not romantic at all. Romance - is more for Bill. I don't have a song, which reminds me of an ex girlfriend. I like fast music more. In clubs I like to listen to hip hop, like "In Da Club" by 50 Cent". Not many people share Tom's love of hip hop i do . "Bill doesn't like hip hop at all. Gustav listens to rock exclusively. Only Georg likes a few songs. this is why they're so close ^_^. So when we are on the road, everyone listens to their own music player." However it's hard to call Tom a hip-hopper: "I need an instrument in my hands I play guitar since 7. It became a part of me. Yeah and I dance rarely but better than most people. I think dancing is for girls!"

His second side:
Tom is almost always in a good mood. EVen in the morning he is ready to crack jokes and laugh. Girls love his impudent behavior, amazing smile, and dirty jokes. And the jokes are made about everyone, especially the other guys of TH.

His fetish: Tom's closet is practically breaking from the amount of clothes. He has shirts from the clothing line "G-Unit Clothing", and shirts from LA hip hop label "Joker", and a few things from Nelly. His pride and joy is his tshirt with the writing "Wait till u see my..." which is a phrase from the song "Wait (the whisper song)" by the Ying Yang Twins. in that case PLZ BRING THE DAMN SHIRT BACK! The whole phrase goes like this: "Wait till you see my dick". And an arrow pointing down. This is so Tom-like.

Fan questions:
Tom will you ever cut your dreads?
Well not willingly. I wear them for 6 years already and never have wanted to cut them off.

Could you wear clothes like Bill?
No, not willingly. If I get a certain obscene proposal, I would put his clothes on, but other than that no. Also I would never dress like Georg or Gustav either haha!

Have any of you worn braces before?
Yes both Bill & I.

What do you do with lingerie that fans throw on stage?
We collect it, like other presents from fans. We have A LOT of it.

Gustav- is the most calm member of TH. It's hard to make him mad and almost impossible to make him mad. okay...this contradicts everything else they said about gustav but whatever. He lvoes to bang on his favorite drums and admits that the best prize/feeling for him is compliments from fans.

His music:
In his mp3 player is usually rock music. "My favorite song is "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. It completely takes you away - and I like that". You could call Gustav a music expert: he knows almost all bands and always knows about the new music coming out. "My idol is Lars Ulrich from Metallica". At band practice, to warm up he often plays other bands' songs: "For example "Smells Like Teen Spirit" I can drum away completely. I love to play that song at parties. However if you only go to glamorous parties with children of rich parents, you really can't down on the floor to this song" he jokes. Also Gustav loves the legendary country-man Johnny Cash: "After touring, my musical horizons have broadened. Our band staff would always play the randomest music, and slowly we started trading CDs." As a kid Gustav listened to different music: "My parents loved Metallica, Eric Clapton, and Phil Collins. At 8 y.o. they for the first time took me to a Joe Cocker and Tina Turner concert. It was awesome!" Dance music, Gustav absolutely hates: "This music is completely tampered with and has too many sound effects. And every time I hear it, I just want to yell: "EY! Turn that shit off!"

His second side:
Gustav- is the most calm member of TH. He doesn't like to be in sight, which is why often (in the bus during tours or backstage before going on stage) he sits in a corner, listening to his headphones and air plays drums. Gustav also takes Tokio Hotel's success more lightly than the other members aka he doesn't have star disease.

His fetish:
Metallica- favorite band of Gustav and he can't live without a shirt with their logo! He wears a shirt saying "Whiskey In The Jar" which is a Metallica song. He also loves Motorhead. He wore a shirt with their logo in the video "Rette Mich". Also on another favorite shirt of Gustav, there is an image of Eddie, the trashy character which appears on nearly all the album covers of the legendary band Iron Maiden. Gustav also owns a few shirt from the punk clothing line The Exploited. And of course you can always find a Guns n Roses shirt in his closet.

Fan questions:
Gusti, why are you so shy? and why do you rarely talk?
I would like to know the same thing. I guess I'm often in the shadow, because I don't say much...I'm the calmest in the band and you can see that in our interviews.

Do you play soccer (football for europe) often?
Only before concerts, when I need to warm up. But back in the day I played more often.

How important to you are the opinions of your fans?
After the concerts fans stay by our hotel and say that the concert was awesome. I'm always very very happy to hear that! (smiles)

The oldest member of the band, Georg, not too long ago admitted to BRAVO that he loves long hair and doesn't plan on cutting it, that he likes to joke around, and likes when fans cover their walls with Tokio Hotel posters.

His music:
Although he loves rock music, Georg often goes clubbing. "I prefer to dance to "black" music. Right now I like PCD and Sean Paul!"- he admits. His childhood: "My father listened to Oasis. Still my favorite song is "Stop Crying Your Heart Out". When I was 13, I went to a Rolling Stones concert in Leipzig. They landed onto the stage in a helicopter. It was ridiculously awesome!" Georg has a huge CD collection, which include all the new music: "Right now most of all, Fall Out Boy make me happy. But when I'm feeling lonely (love sick?), there's nothing better than the song "Anrede Muetter" by Sportfreunde Stiller. But a particular song that would remind me of a particular girl, I don't have. A song that pisses me off the most however is "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston!"

His second side:
At first sight Georg seems moody, serious and cold blooded. In reality he's not like that. Georg is very emotional and sensitive person! From the side it may seem that Tom And Bill are always cracking jokes at him, but really Georg and Tom are great friends and are on the same wavelength. For example (Achtung!), they can laugh and talk about girls for hours on end.

His fetish:
Georg loves American punks The Ramones, that's why he has a lot of their shirts. Also he has many Sex Pistols, Audioslave and Red Hot Chili Peppers shirts. He doesn't have a shirt with a PCD logo yet though...

Fan questions:
Georg, will you ever get a haircut?
I dont think so. Because my ears stick out a little bit. I think I look cooler with long hair.

What kind of shower gel do you use?
Shower gel? I don't shower! I only put on deodorant (laughs). Actually I use different deodorants.

Is it true that you guys like bigger girls?
Georg: No, who said that?!
Bill: Just look at Georg: if I didn't like big girls, would we take him into our band?!! (laughs)

What do you do with the underwear you get thrown at you?
Well Bill sometimes wears some of it. (laughs)

Waffles: In their tour bus, they have a Belgian waffle maker so they can make waffles any time they want. They love it with sugar powder.

Shower: They don't have a shower in their tour bus so they have to shower in hotels.

Food: Cook Utah makes healthy food during the tour so that the guys stay fit (and not sick like at the last tour). Fresh products, lots of salads, but the guys like to cook themselves burgers and schnitzels.

Team: 40 people who always travel with Tokio Hotel, to set up the stage.

Microphone: Bill has a special microphone. What's so special about it? It's absolutely black and framed from the bottom with a special stone.

Night: When the concert is over, the guys climb into their tour bus and bunk beds. "When the bus is moving, it's great to sleep - because it swings you to sleep" says Tom.

Stage: For the stage of the "zimmer 483" tour, 400 square meters of aluminum sheets were used and 360 meters or metallic constructions.Flying decorative elements move thanks to 18 motors and change to the mood of the song. They transport it all in 5(!) huge trucks.

Tour bus: They needed 4 tour buses to bring the boys and their team from city to city. In one of them is TH, where they spend time watching DVDs. Ears: The guys have special ear devices because of the screaming fans. Sometimes they scream with the power of 125 decibels - and that's a lot!

In Magdeburg, the guys played their first show. Then only 15 fans showed up, but even from that show the guys got the greatest satisfaction. Now thousands of fans attend their shows!

The first real photoshoot for the guys! Already then they would pose very professionally for the camera.

Right before their second single "Schrei" was released, the guys went went on their first tour in Germany.

Georg admits that in his not so big luggage bag, are packed away almost all of his things. There's not a lot of them, but all of them were chosen carefully and he likes them a lot.

Childhood: Georg used to live in Halle and his greatest memory became crows. Whole packs of crows would surround/circle his house and he was a little afraid of them. "The crappiest thing happened when I was riding a bicycle. I used to do BMX and this one time my leg slipped off the pedal, and the spokes went into my leg...there was a lot of blood. After this I limped for weeks. When I was 7, when I was sledding, this horrible thing happened. When I was going uphill, this girl racing/passed me in her skiis, and one of the skiis hit my head and cut my right eyebrow. I had a huge wound, which had to be sewn."

Left them by this one door, lit it on fire, rang the doorbell and ran. Some guy came out, saw thew burning pile of newspaper/crap and started trying to stomp it out. The fire went out but his shoes were covered in crap. It was fun haha!

Bravo: Have you gotten into fights?
Tom: Bill and I fight all the time.
Bill: In 4th grade we once kicked this guy's ass who was in 9th grade. It was hilarious - we knocked his tooth out.
Tom: and broke more than one girl's heart
Bill: Whatever! We know that a lot of our fans are sad because of it, that they can't be with us together. We are sad because of it too, but that's the way it is. You can't please everyone. We don't want to hurt a single girl!

Who's there for the TH Twins when the spotlights are turned off? Who's always by their side, who whom can they trust with everything? BRAVO knows...

Today Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco. Tomorrow Rome, Vienna or Stockholm. And the day after Berlin, Cologne or Munich. Tokio Hotel are constantly on the road. And Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg meet new people during their journeys every day. Most of them only interested in the fame and success of the 4 stars. But there is one person always by their side, no matter what: Andreas, called Andi. The 19-year-old boy from Wolmirstedt by Magdeburg is the very best friend of Bill and Tom. They can always rely on him: "We've known each other for sooo long already," Bill says. "Andi was already on our side long before anyone knew us. He knows everything about us. And we can tell him everything." They've already known each other for 7 years. "He was with us at the school in Wolmirstedt. He was one of the very few people we got along with." Bill used to get dissed by many kids for his extreme look. The situation with Andi was totally different though. He was exactly like the twins, which made them like him right from the beginning. "Good friends have to be alike,"Bill explains. "Andi is as spontaneous as we are. And he has the same sense of humor. It's very important to me that we can laugh together."

Whenever the boys have a few minutes off from work, they call Andi. Bill: "We talk on the phone almost daily. I'm constantly on the phone with my family & friends."

And what do they talk about? "We rarely talk about the band.. Most of the time we chat about private stuff. That way I can relax a bit."

Andi's look would fit good into Tokio Hotel, with his bleach-blonde hair - and he even plays an instrument: the Drums. He could take Gustav's position some time, couldn't he? Tom disagrees: "He's more important for us as a best friend."

2008 was a big year full of many talented performers. For weeks you guys voted, and now we’re proud to present to you the highlights of 2008 and winners of the 1st Annual Portrait Choice Awards!

Movie of the Year: Twilight

2008 was a massive year for anything Twilight related when Twilight mania exploded all over the world. The movie was no exception to the franchise and fans all over the world crowded cinemas to watch the much-anticipated film adaptation of the teenage vampire love story when it was released. Portrait readers were definitely no exception and were so dazzled by it that not only did the cast of Twilight take out the coveted number one position in our annual Top 30 Under 30 Poll, but the film itself won by a landslide in our Movie of the Year category, winning almost 50% of the 9000+ votes.
Runners Up: The Dark Knight, High School Musical 3: Senior Year .

Best Teen Show: Supernatural

It was close but you can’t go wrong with a pair of hot yet witty brothers running around fighting ghosts and demons. ;) Let’s face it, the Winchester brothers and the suspenseful action-packed journey they go on to fight supernatural forces are the driving force behind the fact that Supernatural has take out the Best Teen Show title in the Portrait Choice Awards. A firm favourite with Portrait readers, Supernatural won with 30% of the 11 500+ votes.

Best Performance (Movie & TV): Robert Pattison in Twilight

Although we had previously seen him as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films, playing the tortured teen vampire Edward Cullen in the much anticipated Twilight film, not only saw Robert Pattison’s popularity sky-rocket but also provided him with the opportunity to sink his teeth into a more prominent and challenging role, and he certainly did not disappoint! It was a close race between Robert and second place in this category, but in the end Robert managed to hold out winning with 24% of the 9000+ votes.
